Merry Christmas (and a last minute gift idea)

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all have a joyous holiday with your families and that your new year is full of happiness and good cheer. My living room alone is filled with cheer.

Hey if you are that last minute gift giver never fear. . . .  for I have a solution here. Food!! Now you know everyone loves a sweet and savory treat and if you have plastic baggies or mason jars then half the battle is over.

Yesterday I went to Target and grabbed a tub of caramel popcorn and a tray of cookies. People let me tell you I had 7 folks to get gifts for, so divide and conquer was the name of the game. I divided the cookies and popcorn among  7 mason jars and tied a ribbon around them. And BAM! Throw it in a gift bag and you have a fantastic gift that anyone will love.

And if you’re trying to get extra fancy you can throw a sugar scrub you made yourself in the gift bag as well. Or for instance throw in something you know the person likes or can use. Jasper’s dad loves coffee so I grabbed a mug to throw in his bag.

You don’t have to spend a lot of money on Christmas gifts and lets be realistic you do have to live after the holidays. Go forth and enjoy the company of your loved ones and friends and be merry.

My two cents.

xoxo,

Tracey
